- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Went in today because I hadn't received my new drivers license. My paper copy said it could take up to 60 days. It's been 65 days and I thought maybe the holiday had slowed down the process. The gal at the DMV never said hello, just asked what I needed. Then when I told her I hadn't received my new driver's license, she looked it up and told me it was issued on May 1st. I told her, that's when I came into the DMV to renew my license and was given the paper copy. She said, "Well it was issued on the same day so you should have it." I told her, that's why I'm here, because I don't have it! She told me when it's issued online, it only takes 3-5 days. I told her, I didn't issue it online, I came into the license center and the paper copy said up to 60 days. She said they issued it online. I told her I had no way of knowing how they issue the new license and that I was waiting the length of time the paper copy said it could take. She made a phone call and said they would reissue a new one. The whole time she made it seem like it was all my fault and that I was a problem. She was not friendly or courteous. I generally have to wait when I go in there, so dealing with an unfriendly employee doesn't help. Poor customer service.By Veryl Cermak, October 14, 2016
